The MJHD Back-Up Forum Official Michael Jackson "Follow Your Heart" Bracelet

My designing career began a little over a year ago after I discovered the stunning beauty of Swarovski Crystal. I spent the first 6 months learning everything I could about jewelry design and crafting. Once I perfected my own style I began selling my pieces at Home Jewelry Shows.

The name of my company is Sarayu Designs. Since I still hold down a full time job, I decided that selling my pieces via Home Jewelry Parties was the most managable way to do business.

When I read a post on MJHD suggesting that someone create a T-Shirt or a piece of jewelry representing the forum and belief that Michael is alive, I went to the back-up forum and posted my first topic on the subject. I asked the members of the back-up forum if they would be interested in looking at my design ideas for the back-up forum exclusively.

After posting a link to my design photos - So many of you told me that you really liked my work and you would be interested in a MJHD Back-Up Forum Bracelet. I went off to design something that would represent what we believe and why. I also did my best to keep the cost down so everyone could afford one.

For those of you who may not have had the opportunity to view my other pieces, here is a link to my PhotoBucket album.

10/2/09 - I am in the process of sending confirmation messages to everyone who replied to the original 2 threads - gathering the quantity, size and shipping address.

Here is the design I created exclusively for members of the MJHD Back-Up Forum. The intent of the piece was for all of us to have a symbol of what we have been through together in the months since 06/25. All the tears, laughter, pain, research and most of all - our search of Da Troot!

This bracelet is made with Swarovski Crystal. Michael's favorite and used on his famous glove.

From the bracelet a 3D heart dangles - What does this stand for?

3-D heart represents the depth of our love for Michael Jackson the person.

3-D heart represents Michaels direction to us to "Follow Your Heart"

3-D heart is RED because RED is Michaels favorite color.

How much does the bracelet cost?

Since this piece means so much to me and I want everyone to be able to afford it - I promised all of you that I would charge you only the cost to be in materials. The bracelet clasp is sterling silver.

In US Dollars the bracelet is $18.00 plus shipping and handling of $2.00 for a total of $20.00

Based on current exchange rates (09/30/09) in EUROS the bracelet is 13.00 Euros plus shipping. Shipping rate will vary based on your location.

To make the sizing easier to understand:

Petite Women will need a size 6.5 (inches) $18.00 USD plus shipping

Average Size Women will need a size 7.5 (inches) $18.00 USD plus shipping

Plus Size Women will need a size 8.5 to 9.0 (inches) $19.00 USD plus shipping

To PayPal or not to PayPal

Based on my research about using paypal to accept payments I am not 100% comfortable using this method to collect the funds for the bracelet. I read so many horror stories about Pay Pay having the ability to take money out an account without explanation or freeze funds for an un-specified amount of time while they "investigate". This leads me to believe that they use the frozen funds as a way to earn money on those balances while preventing the account holder from withdrawing their own money. Since they are not a bank, they do not have to adhere to Federal Banking Regulations.

For the reasons stated above:

I can only accept International Money Orders at this time.

Where to purchase a Money Order:

In the States the US Post Office offers International Money Orders

The bank where you have an account also offers Money Orders. I know my bank provides MO for free if you have an account.

If you live outside of the states, Western Union and Banks offer International Money Orders. When you purchase the MO it has to be in US Dollars.

They will tell you the amount of money in your currency is needed to purchase the MO in US Dollars.

For example: You give the clerk 13 Euros and then print out a MO for 18 US Dollars.

If I have time to thoroughly review the Merchant Accounts I was considering and make a choice to set one up, this will provide a way for you to use a credit card to make this purchase. At this time I do not have a merchant account set up yet and do not plan on having one before December 1st 2009.

If you have any other questions, please post a comment. This is all for Michael!
